Simons Environmental Scholarship was established in the 80s by the Simons Family Foundation. The Simons Family Foundation sought to foster engineering endeavors that benefit the Earth and the Environment. The Foundation established the endowment that still provides this scholarship annually to worthy Georgia engineering students with career plans in Environmental Engineering.
