The RDW Fund was created by Lyn and John Wylder to honor a family of engineers.  Joseph Rogers, PE, was registered as a municipal engineer in 1923 in the state of New Jersey.  The owner of a small contracting firm that built bridges, it was said that if the bridges he built failed on the day of his death, no one would be able to move in the state.
