In 2004, he joined the Engineering firm for MARTA projects and stayed with the Breeze Card project which was tasked to get power and communication to all the MARTA fare gates and the vending machines. Jim truly has a passion for helping and mentoring others, and his past and current volunteer roles have been as impressive as his professional career. Jim continues to have Board and Committee involvement with Georgia Society of Professional Engineers, Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers, Georgia Engineering Foundation, and the Exploring Engineering Academy. Jim had also served on the Board of the North Georgia Emmaus King Retreat. Additionally, Jim still finds time to continue his 25 years of service as a Sunday school teacher at the United Methodist Church in Alpharetta, GA.
