Applied Technical Services, Inc. (ATS) is a consulting engineering firm specializing in metallurgy and materials testing, chemical analysis, accelerated environmental testing, nondestructive testing, forensic engineering, fire and explosion investigations and calibration services. All of the company’s tests are performed in accordance with an ISO 9001 Registered Quality Assurance Program which satisfies nuclear, military aerospace and commercial requirements. Applied Technical Services of Marietta is led by Mr. Jim Hills, President and son of its founder. ATS has proudly sponsored two scholarships per year since 1999. One scholarship is awarded to students pursuing a degree at the Georgia Institute of Technology and another scholarship for a student attending Kennesaw State University.
