Hannah Dobkin is an exceptional young lady. I had the privilege of teaching Hannah as a sophomore for Accelerated Pre-Calculus and as a senior for AP Statistics. I thoroughly enjoyed teaching her as she is a hard-working and conscientious student. She is a dedicated scholar and thus far her grades have been exceptional. Hannah will have taken 13 AP classes and 4 dual enrollment classes by her graduation. She has not only maintained a 4.1 gpa, but has also been involved with Cross Country, Interact Club, DECA, and Math Honors Society. She is a well-rounded student who has not only achieved academic success, but has also been involved in community service activities and volunteer work. These include volunteering at a local preschool, planting trees with Trees Atlanta, making backpacks for COVID-effected families, and volunteering at a kids’ science camp (Camp Invention). Additionally, Hannah has been actively involved with the religious youth organization, BBYO. She has held two roles on the board, as well as participated heavily as a general member. Her two elected positions included Secretary in 2018 and Treasurer in 2019. She attended Leadership Training Conferences in both 2018 and 2019. In the summer of 2020, Hannah participated in the Girls Who Code program while employed at a retail store (Marshall’s) and taking an online college course with Middle Georgia State University. I would like to restate my strong recommendation for Hannah Dobkin. Her unique combination of curiosity, intellect, and drive make her an excellent choice for your scholarship. I feel confident that she will succeed in her studies while also being involved in other activities.
