5 September 2020 To whom it may concern: RE: Caleb John Cook Caleb Cook is a bright, fine, upstanding young talent, whom I have known his entire life. Caleb has a wonderful and supportive family who has diligently taught and guided him to make good and wise decisions in his Christian faith, in his choice of life goals, friends, and activities. An AP scholar, Caleb is academically near the top of his graduating class, while playing sports through middle and high school and serving in a number of capacities in leadership and service at school, at church and in the community. As an honor roll student all four years of high school, Caleb is well organized and diligent in all the other activities in which he is involved. Caleb is known for solving problems and “thinking outside the box.” He has a very positive attitude, demands a lot of himself and whole heartedly pursues excellence in his work, in academics, in sports, and in life, giving the time and energy that it takes. Caleb works hard to please others, giving his time and talent to support the common good. He is very comfortable with adults and respected by his peers, showing a maturity in judgment and ability well beyond his years. Caleb Cook is a fine example of a young man seeking to make a difference in the world. I believe that Caleb has the intellectual ability, maturity, integrity and potential for a first-rate and distinguished career. I am very proud of him for the fine young man he is, and for the awesome adult he is becoming. I sincerely believe Caleb Cook is exactly the kind of student who will excel at whatever he does, and is a student that the Georgia Engineering Foundation would most certainly want to support through its scholarship program. It is my privilege to offer Caleb my highest recommendation. Most sincerely, Rev. J. Reese Nelson (retired) 229-560-3430 reesenelson@paumc.com
