Leonard Insalaca (Linsalaca@holyspiritprep.org)

To whom it may concern, Adam Young is without question, one of the most motivated students I have had the pleasure of teaching in my twenty-eight year career. I had the honor of being Adam’s band director from the time he was in eighth grade through his current senior year. During this time, it was a privilege to watch him develop into an outstanding musician. Putting his talent and dedication to work, Adam has successfully auditioned for the Georgia Music Educators Association All-District every year of high school, often winning the principal chair. Within our program at Holy Spirit Preparatory School, Adam has performed with our Wind Symphony, Big Band, Jazz Combo, multiple Chamber Ensembles, and is a member of the Tri-M National Music Honor Society. He composed music that was performed by our band and has released several albums on streaming services. Adam’s musical contributions were a contributing factor in our Wind Symphony being selected to perform at the world renowned Carnegie Hall last spring. Outside of music, Adam had enjoyed many other accomplishments. He was elected to house leadership, served our school and community through his membership in Delta Omega, and was a co-founder of the Forum, a club that allows members to present topics they are passionate about followed by a question and answer session, helping with public speaking and impromptu skills. Adam is an outstanding young man of upstanding moral character and integrity. He possesses natural leadership qualities, and does whatever it takes to get the job done, and done well. His passion and drive make him an ideal student who will bring honor and excellence wherever he goes. Please let me know if you have any further questions or need any additional information concerning Adam’s qualifications. It is with my highest commendation that I recommend Adam Young for the Georgia Engineering Foundation Scholarship. In Christ, Leonard Insalaca Director of Fine Arts Linsalaca@holyspiritprep.org
