To Whom It May Concern: It is my pleasure to write a letter of recommendation for Jacob Bennett. It is with great confidence that I make this recommendation, as I find Jacob to be a hardworking, intelligent young man with much to offer to the world around him. Jacob is a well-rounded individual, and I know that he will be successful in anything that he undertakes. I had the pleasure of teaching Jacob during his junior year while he was a student enrolled in my AP Calculus AB course. Jacob came to class each day with a positive attitude and a desire to learn. There was never any doubt about how much Jacob enjoyed math and he always took great pride in attempting challenging problems. Jacob was always quick to think critically of each topic introduced in the classroom and would seek opportunities that would require him to think divergently. He was never afraid to ask important questions that would enhance his understanding of the topic we were studying. Jacob always worked collaboratively with his classmates, volunteered to answer questions with confidence, and participated in group discussions. Jacob has proven himself to be very strong in his math abilities and is comfortable assisting his peers in the classroom. I am thankful for the opportunity that I have had to teach Jacob, and I know he will continue to thrive beyond the classroom setting. Through his high school course work, extracurricular activities, and various honors, Jacob has proven himself to be an exceptional student. Jacob’s intelligence, motivation, and self-discipline will take him very far in future endeavors. I honor Jacob for his hard work and effort, and I hope you choose to do the same. If you have questions or need additional information regarding this recommendation, please do not hesitate to contact me via phone (770) 888-1235 or email (aswafford@forsyth.k12.ga.us).
