I am writing this letter to recommend Olivia Craig for the Georgia Engineering Foundation Scholarship for the University of Georgia. I am currently Olivia’s youth leader at church. I have known her for 8 months now. I have really enjoyed having this opportunity to get to know her. As her youth leader, I have had the pleasure of getting to know Olivia and seeing her learn, grow, and work hard through class at church, activities, meetings, and camp. Olivia is class president and helps facilitate and lead her peers. Olivia has shown me over and over that she is very intelligent, driven, competitive, mature, and a true leader. She is independent and will go the extra mile. She takes pride in her grades and has a deep love for engineering. Her great love for learning and creating will make great use of this scholarship. I know she will excel and make you as proud of her as I am. Thank you for considering Olivia for this scholarship. She worked really hard to graduate high school at 16 and is very invested in her engineering program at UGA.
