October 17, 2023 Re: Scholarship Recommendation Letter for David Dos Santos To Whom It May Concern; It gives me great pleasure to take this opportunity to recommend David Dos Santos as a scholarship recipient. I have the privilege to have come to know David very well over my past six years as a member of our church. I also had the honor to have been David’s Church Youth Leader for one year. Furthermore, I have come to know David as a leader for the past two years, since we are currently working together as Youth Leaders for our church. As his Youth Leader, Youth Leader Colleague, and member at Spring of Blessings Church, I can attest to his good character as a Christian, ethics of hard work, leadership ability, and dedication to further himself in education and life. David’s moral character and attitude are beyond reproach. David has proven his ability to lead others through positions held throughout his tenure in our church. He has excelled in all tasks/positions held to include: Youth’s Praise Group Leader, Video and Sound Leader, Sunday School Teacher, and he has written/directed plays. David has done all of these things with love, responsibility, passion, and joy. Everything that David does for God’s work is impeccable. His love for God amazes me. In today’s time is rare to find such a young man with a strong commitment to his beliefs and respect for God’s work. I can truly see God been manifested in David’s life. He holds very tight to the values instilled in him by his parents. Therefore, his example has encouraged other young members at our church to follow his lead. He did not compromise his responsibilities as a Christian or as a student. Even though, he has been a very active member of our church, David found a way to also be active at school and give back to the community. When he was a high school student, he was a member of the Packer’s Robotics Team and Chick-fil-A Leader Academy. He also participated in the Addams’s Family Musical that was premiered by the high school. He played the role of “Lurch” and he did an impressive performance. David was able to tackle all of these activities while still maintaining a 3.86 GPA during his time in high school. Currently, during his time at Kennesaw State University, he is in the honors program while pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering. Certainly, he is a very smart, intelligent, and confident, yet humble young man. He is a self-motivated individual who can always be counted on to see the mission through. For all of these reasons mentioned, I highly recommend David Dos Santos to be considered as a recipient for this scholarship. I know that all these attributes and qualities that God has bestowed on him (Spirit of Fear of the Lord, mental ability, discipline, great leadership, and motivation) will help him be successful in the career he has chosen to pursue. He is a pace-setter. He will get the job done and done exceedingly well. Your investment on his future will not be a mistake. Please do not hesitate to contact me at the email provided in this letter, if I can help in anyway. Sincerely, Yareni Carvajal Alamilla
