To whom this may concern: I am writing this letter on behalf of Richmond Hill High School and Richmond Hill Athletics. I have had the pleasure to be around Lucy Tuttle for the past 4 years, in the capacity of softball, flag football, track, athletics, academics, and in the community. Lucy is a 3 sport student athlete at Richmond Hill High School. She is first and foremost a student. Lucy has shown her time management skills, as evident in her ability to manage a rigorous academic schedule with a demanding athletic career. She is self-driven and holds herself accountable for her future. Lucy has used athletics to develop her character, perseverance, and leadership skills. This is evident in the trust in which the coaches at RHHS instills in her. Playing three sports and being trusted by her coaches in a major capacity typically shows characteristics that others do not possess. Those characteristics include mental toughness, perseverance, and resilience. I truly believe that Lucys’ work ethic in the classroom and the athletic fields is the reason she holds these characteristics.
