William Kyle Phillips (phillips.william.k@muscogee.k12.ga.us)

To whom it may Concern: I am writing this letter of recommendation regarding Crisely Guzman. I have known Crisely for two years. I was her AP Calculus AB, teacher at Columbus High School. Crisely is a wonderful young lady and is someone you would be honored to have represent your establishment. Crisely comes into class every day with a willingness to learn and work; she is extremely diligent and never gives up on a problem. Crisely continuously demonstrates a positive attitude and is a joy to be around. She is an excellent student and is someone anyone would be proud to call one of their own. Crisely would make an excellent role model for any young lady. Crisely did exceptionally well at Columbus High School. She was a member of the National Honor Society, National English Honor Society, and the National Spanish Honor Society. Crisely was also an AP Scholar with Distinction. Crisely remains actively involved academically as well as she has taken 8 AP courses. She can do all of this while maintaining a 4.368 GPA. School work is completed on time and performed flawlessly. Crisely Guzman was also involved outside of the classroom as well. She was the senior class president following up a very successful term as the junior student body president. Crisely was the founder and President of the Latino Student Union, she was a member of GEMS (Girls in Engineering Mathematics and Science), the Columbus Space Program, and finds time to be a varsity cross country runner. To say the least, she was well rounded and one you be proud to have as your own. Crisely Guzman was also involved in her community. She volunteered with the Columbus art museum where she was a teacher’s aid for the summer educational program and was involved with Reading for Local Elementary Schools. It is with great pride that I recommend Crisely Guzman for this program. She displays every quality that a teacher wishes to see in their students. She is polite, intelligent, caring, joyful, positive, and a joy to be around. If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me at phillips.william.k@muscogee.k12.ga.us or by cell 706.977.7752.
