Sajib Saha (sajib.saha@uga.edu)

As a faculty member of the School of Environmental, Civil, Agricultural, and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Georgia, I am writing to recommend a scholarship at the prestigious Georgia Engineering Foundation in favor of Ms. Angel (Xinyue) Lin. As her course Instructor for ENGR 1120 Engineering Graphics and Design class during the Fall 2023 semester, I have found Ms. Angel to be interested in and motivated towards learning; She consistently showcased an innate ability to grasp complex concepts and ask insightful questions. She maintained an ‘A+’ grade in my course so far based on the performances of conceptual quizzes, homework, and the graphics quiz, in which she performed exceptionally well. Other than academics, Ms. Angel is a reliable and disciplined person. Further she has a commendable work ethic and the capacity to adapt to new and challenging environments. With these strengths and her leadership qualities, I firmly believe she is a deserving and ideal candidate for the Georgia Engineering Foundation Scholarship, which will significantly support her academic pursuit.
