I have known Miranda Murphy since she was born. We lived across the street from Miranda and her family from 2002-2019. We were blessed for Miranda and her siblings to grow up with our own girls. Miranda has always been a sweet, thoughtful friend to our girls. She was willing to join in an impromptu lemonade stand, pool party, Lego-building contest, and anything that required imagination. They all played so well together! As they all got older, we saw Miranda grow into a mature young lady, taking on trustworthy responsibilities like offering to feed and care for our dogs when we went out of town. Our families grew close enough that, after they moved to Georgia, we were invited to visit each summer and we made memories with Miranda and her family at the pool, attending Braves games, watching local fireworks and just hanging out at their home. Miranda jumped right into her new high school and was/still is an involved and committed student. She managed to keep a high GPA while playing golf for the school team among other activities. We fully expected her to attend UGA and shared in her excitement when she was accepted. I know she will be a dedicated student and I have no doubt she will do well in her classes and go far with her degree. I am thankful God crossed our families’ paths all those years ago and am so humbled she asked me to write this reference letter for her.
