Dan Maley (daniel.maley@acemacon.org)

To whom it may concern, I have known Landon Juang for three years, since he took my physics class as a 10th-grader at the Academy for Classical Education. That year he joined the Interact Club, a community-service club that I sponsor. He later returned to my classroom as a senior to take my forensic science class. Throughout this time, he proved himself to be a talented and conscientious student. Landon masters difficult scientific concepts with little apparent effort. This is not to say that he takes a passive approach to his education. On the contrary, he displays a genuine curiosity about science. He often asks penetrating questions in a detached, objective manner. When he pursues a line of questioning in class he is not showing off or looking for hints about test questions. He sincerely wants to understand. Landon was a regular volunteer for the Interact Club’s service projects, such as roadside litter pick-up. He works hard and never complains. Landon was passionate about performing with the school band. He said earning second chair in the district honor band was his proudest achievement, mainly because it did not come easy for him. Landon took the most challenging courses offered at ACE and was valedictorian of the Class of 2022. In conclusion, I do not hesitate to recommend Landon Juang as a young man of extraordinary ability and character.
