To Whom It May Concern: As Hannah Shin’s Key Club advisor, I am delighted to recommend her as an exceptional candidate for your scholarship. She is a dedicated student volunteer who is both bright and compassionate and has an excellent work ethic. Hannah has been an integral member of Key Club since her freshman year and has been elected an officer each year. As our club president AND our district lieutenant governor this year, Hannah has demonstrated amazing levels of organization, leadership, and service! At the club level, Hannah coordinates and plans all of our meetings and fundraisers with the help of our outstanding officer team. To make our meetings more interactive and relevant, Hannah has encouraged the planning of activities and service projects, such as making dog toys for a shelter or writing notes of appreciation to school staff members (which they loved!) The club really seems to enjoy having an activity to do at the meetings! Hannah also handles most of the communication with our 249 members via GroupMe, which makes my job as advisor tremendously easier! She and the other officers field members’ questions and share information about service projects and meetings and, when necessary, offer reminders about club expectations and GroupMe etiquette! During the times when our club could not meet face to face, Hannah and the other officers brainstormed ways to have our members actively involved in service projects, and they did a fantastic job! I never have to worry about how things are being handled as long as Hannah is here! As a lieutenant governor, Hannah sends timely, informative, and interesting newsletters to keep her division connected and informed. Though the purpose of these letters is to relay information, Hannah always shares some fun personal information to allow her division to get to know her and to see that she is a student with similar interests and stresses to their own. Clearly, Hannah is the best of the best! I can only hope that one of my other wonderful officers will be able to fill her shoes next year. I can’t imagine a more deserving recipient for your scholarship! Sincerely, Kimberly S. Raines
