To Whom It May Concern: I first met Vincent almost four years ago when he enrolled in the math team. I am the math team coach and I immediately recognized how curious and inquisitive he was about mathematics. He was almost impressed that he did not know how to do some of the problems. I think he was used to breezing through math classes in middle school. He always came into math team practice with a smile because he knew he would be challenged and have the possibility to learn something he didn’t already know. I went on to be his math coach every year and also taught him in AP Statistics and AP Computer Science. He relished those classes and performed at the very top of both classes; all while being a pleasure to work with. I have known Vincent for almost four years and can honestly say he is one of my favorite students I have taught. He has a great personality and possesses the confidence to enjoy being challenged in a class. He is one of the brightest students I have ever taught but is still intellectually curious and works hard to learn new concepts. I have taught at Savannah Arts Academy for 15 years and have had the privilege of teaching students who went on to Harvard, Yale, Princeton, and Georgia Tech. Vincent ranks in the very top tier of students I have ever worked with and I can promise he will be successful at your school. If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to contact me.
