John Prien retired in 2024 from The Clorox Company after a 36-year career spanning Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management and Global Category Management and Capital Acquisition Roles. In 2010 he retired from the US Navy and Navy Reserve having served 28-years in multiple billets at the Fleet, Naval Construction Force, Marine Expeditionary Force, as well as with Region, Component and Combatant Commanders levels at home and overseas. As Southeast Region Lead Emergency Preparedness Liaison Officer he led US Fleet Forces Command response efforts on the Deepwater Horizon Gulf Oil Spill. Captain Prien qualified as a Seabee Combat Warfare Officer and USCG Licensed Marine Engineer. He is a Life Member of SAME, AUSN and the USNL and a proud member of the Georgia Engineering Foundation.
